Layering: The Only Option

Quick post!! So, last night’s post never made it. So sorry about that. There’s no real excuse for it either other than TERRIBLE time management. So to make up for that, here’s today’s look. Can’t get enough off layering up at the minute. It’s like the only option with this weather. BRRRRR!!!!!

Crop Tops in November

Hey guys! Sorry tonight is a little late..my bad. I spent the evening catching up with a really good friend that I haven’t seen in 6 months, since she moved to London!! So jealous! I needed to hear all about it. We had a great catch up and she got her hair freshened up. (Pictures are on Instagram! Go Look!)
But anyways, this was today’s look. These Topshop trousers are still a firm favourite of mine, and I love the structured look this boxy crop gives. A crop top shows the fitted waist on this look, keeping it feminine by by giving my silhouette a curve.
What are your thoughts? Drop me a comment 🙂

Do I Look Like A Hairdresser??

Evening folks! Tonight I am sharing a look that is an absolute favourite of mine. It’s all black, got leather, and oh so grungy. This particular outfit is what I wore to work last week, and I don’t know why but I feel like it just screams HAIRDRESSER! lol Just me?..Okay..
There is something just so effortless about the grungy style, and it is just so comfortable. Definitely one of my go-to looks when I’m feeling a little lost for inspiration. to really complete this overall look, I love a strong lip colour. Last week I went for red, and it really stands out against the black. I also like my deep, gothy plum lip for this look.
What’s your opinion on this look? A little too grunge, or a prefect combination? Drop me a comment..

Jimmy Carr

Evening guys. How was everyone’s weekend?
I spent my Saturday night with the one and only Mr. Jimmy Carr. It’s safe to say you can’t be easily offended at this man’s show. But he is hilarious!! I think everyone should go see him at least once..
As promised, here is my outfit from last night. I teamed up my little Primark dress with this leather skirt, and I just loved this look. I think it’s quite a sophisticated look with a bit of an edge. And I can’t help notice that I keep buying clutches. What do you think of this laser cut clutch I picked up from Matalan…??

Skater

WELL!! I have been busy today..I even had a little fear that this post wouldn’t make it! But no! It’s here 🙂
Tonight’s post is continuing this week’s theme of reinventing my wardrobe; using old pieces to create new looks. This look is the dress/ skirt combo. This dress is a cute Summer number with these popping colours, but I’ve mixed it up for Autumn by adding the black skater skirt and boots.
I also think this look, or even this idea, would look really awesome with flat boots and over knee socks..something I may look into.. Watch this space.. 😉
Next outfit post will be up on Sunday evening, and keep up with me on my social media sites, where there will be some top hair tips over the next few days..

Hey guys.. How’s everyone’s week going?
So here’s today’s post. I’m continuing my theme of ‘reinventing’ my wardrobe tonight with this dress/ crop top combo. This dress is actually a stunner on it’s own, great for a night out. So I guess this look would really work for a day to night transformation too…?? I got this dress in a little local shop called La Moda. But it just seems to be all over the Internet (and Instagram!) being produced by loads of online stores.
I love how the pencil skirt of the dress looks with a boxy crop. I think it gives the look a real structure to it. Anyways, what do you think? Do you like mixing dresses with tops, or is it just me??

Reinventing

HANDS UP WHO BOUGHT A NEW WINTER WARDROBE?!?! Well…. good for you! For us poverty stricken students (who don’t get our wardrobes until the loans come in lol) we have to make do with what we have, And that’s what my posts this week are all about. Creating something different using what we already have..
Today was a low key Sunday, so I went for a casual look. I went for an orange shift dress that I just absolutely love, and I layered this tunic over the top of it, just showing off the bottom of the dress. As this tunic is a little too short to be worn alone, having a dress underneath makes a change from wearing trousers or leggings with it. What do you think of this little idea??
Drop me a comment… and have a great week 🙂

Red

Evening guys! How are we all tonight? 🙂
I’m completely in love with this culotte/jumpsuit piece from Topshop. I’ve worn this once to a family party, and I’m itching to get it on again. It makes such a refreshing change from wearing a dress, and the colour makes this a great alternative for those Christmas nights out.
Do you love it or loathe it??

On Point

Hey all.. I’ve been meaning to post this outfit for a while and have FINALLY gotten around to it (Uni has begun taking it’s toll on me. Sorry.) I absolutely love this little block colour number. And the thing I love most is that it’s from Primark! Yes! PRIMARK!!
Primark is just kicking ass these days. They’re Instagram alone just has me beating my phone. But back to this dress. It’s such a great buy, because I have worn it on a night out, and am already planning it as a work look. What an all rounder 😉 I was also really impressed with the quality of it. It’s a good material, so I know it won’t be ruined after 3 washes. What do you think? Are you all loving Primark as much as I am at the mo.. Drop me a comment.

Oh, and how awesome is my clutch…Tres Chic 😉
